League Standings
-
In the play-off match of Dudehond is a Beast vs Quadra, Dudehond failed to produce a full team. Therefore Quadra go through.
-
I am still in discussion with Hills about getting a venue for the tournament. When I hear more I'll update this page and send an e-mail round.
Rules
-
Teams consist of 5 players plus one optional substitute. Now teams are formed it is expected that there will not be any changes.
-
Each team has a captain. In each fixture the captain of the blue team is responsible for inviting everyone into the game.
-
All games will be played on Summoner's Rift using the Tournament Draft game format. Instructions on how to set this up are on the Setup page.
-
Matches will be played at 6pm on Sunday nights so as not to conflict with Clash matches.
How it works
-
Games will be played on Sunday nights at 6pm. Teams and their summoner names are on the Teams page.
-
The competition will be in a league format, with teams scoring points as follows:
-
3 points for winning
-
1 point for losing
-
0 points for both teams if the match doesn't happen
-
-
The final knockout tournament will be for the top four teams, with two teams coming from each college. So, for example, if Hills Road ends up with teams in the top 3 places, followed by two from Long Road in 4th and 5th place, then the top two teams from Hills would play alongside the Long Road teams in 4th and 5th place.
-
Teams are welcome to arrange informal games between each other (known as scrimming).
-
Once a game has been concluded, team captains from both teams should send an e-mail to cambridgecollegeesports@gmail.com to verify who won. All players are welcome to post their games on YouTube if there are any disputes about who won. Any team who declares a win and is later discovered to have lost will be disqualified and removed from the league. You can also send me a link to game statistics from https://matchhistory.euw.leagueoflegends.com if you think there has been a problem with a game.
-
In Tournament Draft mode, any player can type “/pause” to pause the game. However, trolling with the pause functionality (e.g. pausing for 10 minutes just before you’re about to lose) will be highly frowned upon.
-
Fixtures are on the Fixtures page. For each fixture, one team will be delegated as the blue team, with their team captain responsible for inviting everyone else into the game. Each team will play each other team twice, once as blue and once as red.
